Pine City, Minn. (October 3, 2024) – The popular annual event, Mystery at the Fur Post returns to the Snake River Fur Post October 17–19 with a new mystery, The Creature of Snake Hollow.

During Mystery at the Fur Post, visitors will explore the historic site by candle lantern, taking on the role of detective. They can question the suspects, snoop for clues, and unravel the secrets of the night.

This year, the mystery is set in the town of Snake Hollow, where stories have spread of a creature lurking in the woods. Guests will begin their adventure at the wedding of Esmeray Randall and Zev Taylor. Despite rumors of the creature’s appearance during the full moon, the father of the bride insisted the evening proceed as planned. Until the creature struck again…

Throughout the evening, guests will begin to separate fact from fiction to solve the mystery of what is truly going on in the town.
