Support the scanning and digitizing of historical documents for the Lower Sioux Agency (LSA).

Student Qualifications

● Excellent communication skills
● Strong historical research skills
● Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
● Detail-oriented and ability to to ask for help/clarity when needed

Student Responsibilities

● Research on the LSA

● Scanning and Digitization of materials
● Summarizing/writing small paragraphs
● Research unreadable documents and print new versions

Knowledge Intern is expected to gain

Learn about Dakota history, Historic Lower Sioux Agency Site and history about the grounds, site, community, and cultural preservation plans.
