The intern in this position assists with the process of conducting research for Folsom House in Taylors Falls. Working under the Partnership Sites Manager, and collaborating with various other departments at MNHS, the intern will conduct research, shadow frontline work at the Folsom House, and work with both the partnership sites manager and the site administrator of the Folsom House.

Student Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a collaborative setting  
  • Experience working with the public in a frontline setting  
  • Understanding of researching historical topics using primary source material  
  • Reliable transportation as some travel will be expected 
  • Ability to work remotely
Student Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary source research 
  •  Participate in team meetings 
  •  Meet and communicate regularly with the partnership sites manager 
  • Work collaboratively with various departments at MNHS 
  • Travel to necessary locations including Folsom House, Taylors Falls, and meetings with partnership sites manager
Knowledge Intern is expected to gain
